I started reading this and thought it was something new, I thought ‘this looks good, they’re going to do something about the touting’ then I realised it was the old stuff, and at the end of the presentation they are complimenting themselves on a job well done, as if the touting problem has been solved and they can all have a pat on the back. I wonder if any of the people who put the presentation together actually go out at night and see touting for themselves. Touting isnt a glossy presentation, its scum on the streets late at night targetting vulnerable women.
this is a bloody liberty. Now the truth is out. I can’t put into words how I feel, lets just say I am bloody fuming. Where do I sign up because I want something done NOW!!
i read the issue and about this STaN and i am gutted i just hope the young guys with there new cabs sign up and realise that in a couple of years if we dont stand and fight now there wont be a living for them in the future .
Hundreds of years of a Taxi Service, has been eroded in the space of 11 years. These Dick Heads at TFL/ T&PH have ruined the London Cab Trade. It’s not just them our own People have had a good go….Bob Oddy…Colin Evans…Brian Rice….Geoff Riesel….(these are my views not that of UCG).There’s alot of money being made some where and all on the back of a working Cab Driver. I GIVE UP….By the way where is the Suzy Lumplugh Trust while all these Young Girls are being Raped by Licensed Mini Cab Drivers…?

I like the bit about conventional policing has had little impact,thats because most coppers dont know the law and just walk past the touts.
